Technology is goose bumping into future with an enormous speed. Under the influence of technology and globalization, India envisages a paradigm change in living learning and thinking. While technology supports living and learning it influences thinking. Earlier teacher – centered learning now became learner – centered. Earlier it was the requirement of qualification, now it is the requirement of qualification, now it is the requirement of skill set. In the past, emphasis was on Employability. In the present scenario, unemployment can’t chain a skilled man. Indeed, there is a dearth for people with skills in spite of possessing qualification. We should be every – day learners; nothing is out of – syllabus; the day we fail to learn, we ate meek and weak in acquiring knowledge and Learning skills’. Knowledge without skills has little use. Therefore, the destination of VPR’s is not awarding degrees but to carve students into highly skilled and well qualified professional to build their career. |
